This wooden bowl has been turned out of a single piece of ash. The next process was to burn out the soft summer growth from between the harder winter growth rings to highlight the natural grain. From this we took a mould to produce the final piece, a very satisfying process.
This bowl is made from cast concrete using granite aggregate sourced from a quarry in Leicestershire.
This product also has a food safe coating and a cork base to protect the surface you put it on to.
Not dish washer safe or oven proof.
