This butter dish designed and modelled by Helen Johannessen is based on the iconic plastic storage containers.

Johannessen says the concept of making them permanent in ceramic was a material comment about our casual usage of items and resources. This lidded ceramic container is to be cherished and used, gifted or kept, that’s true sustainable design.

Slip cast in semi porcelain and glazed (food safe).

Each butter dish has its own individual character and is signed by the artist.
