Our shops on Festival Terrace, inside the Royal Festival Hall and at the Hayward Gallery offer a diverse range of design led gifts, creative toys for children, '50's inspired homewares and items relating to art, music, dance and photography.
Southbank Centre Shop Festival Terrace was expanded in April 2011 and now boasts more design-led goodies, eclectic homeware, novelty gifts and gorgeously affordable jewellery than ever before.
There are many exclusive and commissioned items including prints from Paul Catherall, bookends from Susan Bradley and wallpaper from Absolute Zero Degrees.
The shop’s ranges are regularly updated to reflect seasonal trends and the artistic happenings on the South Bank. Current ranges include cycling inspired homeware by Ella Doran, bright textiles by Kangan Arora (right), cute children's bags by Mibo and prints featuring classic film and television by Matt Needle.
The shop in Royal Festival Hall has recently been relaunched with a great mixture of British designed and made homeware and jewellery ranges for the adults and a popular selection of wooden toys for the kids.
New jewellery for 2014 include pieces by Victoria Coleman, Boodhi Blu, Hannah Bedford, Stephanie Ray, Dorit Jewellery, Big metal and Roude Designs.
Homeware features Jennifer Rowlands Woodland Animals and Tom Frost's Wildlife range for Cubic as well as Ella's Doran's record inspired homeware. The Circus themed toys for Spring 2014 are by Djeco, Mumbo Jumbo toys and Orange Tree toys (below).
Southbank Centre Shop – Hayward Gallery is adjacent to the gallery space and offers a wide range of gifts, books, prints and cards relating to the exhibition programme and the iconic gallery architecture. With its stripped down interior and industrial fixtures the shop offers an edgy and contemporary retail space.
The full back catalogue of Hayward Publishing titles is available- lots of them at special exhibition, or offer, prices. During exhibitions the shop often contains exclusive ranges produced in liaison with the featured artists in addition to Limited Edition prints and special editions.
