Range of ceramics created by Emma Johnson exclusively for the re-opening of the Hayward Gallery.
The designs have been inspired by the monumental and geometric architectural forms which make up the Hayward Gallery.
A vase reflects the towering pillars, cups take inspiration from the triangular overhangs and a jug is based on the heavy, asymmetric Brutalist shapes within the complex.
Each piece is made from a light grey coloured porcelain, some with additional dark grey marbled accents to reflect the aesthetic of weathered concrete.
A transparent glaze enhances this colouring, and unglazed base sections create a contrasting tactility.
Each unique object has been handmade by Emma Johnson in her studio.
