In the Studio: Will Clarke
Inspired by architecture that has sense of both history and beauty, artist Will Clarke has found himself increasingly drawn towards buildings that have cultural significance.
Will makes all of his artworks by hand, by drawing using pencil and fine pen then using a photo-exposure process to transfer the drawings to silk screen. By introducing areas of colour and metallics to each piece, he is able to create unique artworks which differ from the initial drawings.

'I think my favourite part is the moment you see the print appear for the first time. With hand-printing, you can never be sure how the print will come out until you see it appear from under the screen. When it works out, it's incredibly satisfying'. Will Clarke
